Caryl Bryer Fallert
- unique and superior even among first class quilters
I'll never forget my very first meeting
with one of Caryl's absolutely fabulous quilts. I was standing in the impressive
exhibition hall, a mild day of April year 2000. Farthest from the entrance a sign read
"Best in Show, Hancock of Paducah". This was at the AQS annual show in Paducah,
Kentucky. The quilt was well visible from a distance, as if the other masterpieces hanging
there suddenly turned pale.
The motif showed slim swanlike birds embracing oneanother in
powerful and graduated colours. It was obviously made by a master of patchwork, quilting
and art! A master's piece. It was simply incredible. Caryl Bryer Fallert has won almost
all there is to win. She travels extensively around the world and gives lectures and
workshops for artquilters. Even the Chinese have invited her

still living in the northern part of the state at a beautiful farm with her family and

throughout all times. Do you want to know more about her? Visit www.bryerpatch.com and prepare for an excellent art
