A few words about Jinny Beyer
It's nice of you to drop in here at
my corner. This time I`ve been thinking of giving you a great web address where you can
find free patterns, beautiful photos of patchwork, a genuine quilter's garden and happy
animals: In other words www.jinnybeyer.com.
Jinny
is known for her many books, for her sensational hand-quilted and hand-sewn quilts and as
RJR Fashion's all-time best designer of fabric patterns. You probably have many of her
fabrics in your own shelves and drawers. She says herself that much of her inspiration
came from the Far East, from Borneo, Nepal and India. She lived there once with her son
and her husband. The Taj Mahal collection was designed later on.
Jinny is as natural and friendly as she is famous and popular in the quilting world.
She visited my hometown in Norway in 1997, and I translated the article from the local
paper for her afterwards. She then sent me a letter of thanks that only a busy but
warmhearted and kind person would do. Surf into her websites and make sure you have an
entire evening to spend there, considering the amount of interesting stuff you will enjoy.
You can download some patterns too, and if you donīt succeed she will mail them to you.
Have a nice time!
